This Privacy Policy explains how Blindsmiths collects, uses, and protects information when you use the service.
Information we collect
We collect account details (name, email, role), job data entered in the app, and system logs required to operate the service. If you enable voice transcripts, transcript lines are stored in your Google Sheets for audit and continuity.
How we use information
Information is used to provide job capture, pricing, quote generation, nesting outputs, and collaboration between operators. We do not sell your data.
Data storage
Your job data lives in Google Sheets you control. We access your sheets using our service account and scoped access, limited to the permissions you grant. Transcripts and pricing tabs are stored in the same sheets so you retain ownership and portability.
Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, and optional key storage encryption. You are responsible for securing your Google account and sharing access appropriately.
Retention
Job data and transcripts remain in your sheets until you delete them. We store minimal operational logs to maintain service reliability.
Your rights
You control your data through your Google Sheets and can export or delete it at any time. Contact us if you need help removing data from the service.
